You'd think this would be a fairly commonplace thing considering all the late night stoners and whatnot, but my order was met by a reaction of total hysteria."

"A magnificent 150-year-old farmhouse on Spruce Street suffered heavy damage on Friday, August 22 when a four-alarm fire -- possibly caused by a squirrel carting a lit cigarette into the attic -- consumed much of the structure's third floor. More evil squirrels.

Robotic Freedom, by Marshall Brain. Pretty interesting article on what will happen when robots or machines displace all of the low-skill, service-sector jobs. Kind of like my theory on a society that will allow people to do hobbies or nothing as opposed to working, due to simple robots and machines. Not self-conscious robots, otherwise we would have one of those lovely doomsday scenarios Terminator and Matrix love to tout around.
